Performance and determination of Concentration Ratio for a parabolic solar concentrator using a thermographic technique

نویسندگان

چکیده

This work addresses the methodology to determine exact concentration ratio (CR) for a parabolic solar concentrator (PSC) using thermographic imaging. The value of CR is commonly given in terms area receiver and not image produced by on surface. With analysis, it possible know real generated PSC receiver, which helps have precise calculation CR. It important measure only manufacturing purposes but also maintenance concentrators, since its miscalculation lowers their energy efficiency or lifespan. In experiments, divided into 4 regions, stratified with an equal temperature difference each one. this consideration, varied from 20 151. To complete calculated. Since heating non-stationary process, thermal fluctuated during time experimentation, having peak 25% mean 15.3%. irregularities curvature concentrators significantly deteriorate uniformity radiation flux due unused areas concentration.

Simulation and Modelization of Parabolic Solar Concentrator

The Dish Stirling systems have demonstrated the highest efficiency of any solar power generation system by converting nearly 31.25% [1] of direct normal incident solar radiation into electricity after accounting for parasitic power losses. Therefore, the Dish Stirling technology is anticipated to surpass parabolic troughs by producing power at more economical rates and higher efficiencies. Beca...
